This notice describes the public research prototype and the planned production data flow. It will be reviewed again before accounts, analytics, or personalized features are introduced.
Who operates Itemized
Itemized is an independently operated research project. Contact the project at contact@itemized.eu. The legal operator name will be published here before the Riot production application is submitted.
Public website data
The current prototype has no user account, contact form, advertising tracker, or behavioral analytics. The hosting provider may process ordinary request and security logs such as IP address, device or browser metadata, requested URL, and timestamp to deliver and protect the site. Itemized does not use those logs to profile players.
Riot API research data
The backend processes supported Riot API match, timeline, ladder, account, and static game data to create aggregate champion statistics and recommendations and to evaluate them. Raw payloads can contain opaque player identifiers such as PUUIDs. Riot IDs are not published in statistics or recommendation output, and public results are aggregated across games.
- Purpose: model training, evaluation, debugging, abuse prevention, and reproducibility.
- Access: restricted to the project backend and project operator.
- Sharing: no sale of player data and no transfer to advertisers or data brokers.
- Security: Riot API credentials remain server-side and are never shipped to a browser or public repository.
- Retention: a production retention job and deletion procedure must be active before public launch.
Personalization and sign-in
The initial production application does not require Riot Sign On and does not provide live opponent scouting. If opt-in account history is introduced later, Itemized will request Riot approval for that expanded use, update this notice first, and give users a deletion path.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or an explanation of data handling by using the published contact address. Requests will be verified to avoid disclosing data to the wrong person. Applicable rights vary by location.
